The Round Rock Police Department places a huge emphasis on community outreach. We host or participate in hundreds of events each year. Programs, such as the Citizens Police Academy and Junior Police Academy, give residents a glimpse at what it's like to be a police officer. The more we can interact with Round Rock residents in a positive way, the better.
The mission of Coffee with a Cop is to break down the barriers between police officers and the citizens they serve. Citizens are encouraged to ask questions, voice concerns, and get to know the officers in your neighborhood.
The annual Back to School Celebration provides Round Rock students with school supplies, sports physicals, and hearing and vision screenings, all in a fun atmosphere involving food, games, and live music.
The Round Rock Police Department , Round Rock Fire Department, and Williamson County EMS co-host this annual community event. Children and adults alike get to meet first responders and see the vehicles and equipment they use.
This annual community-building campaign promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. The city-wide block party includes cookouts, safety demonstrations, and visits from emergency personnel.
Operation Blue Santa’s mission is to provide assistance to Round Rock families during Christmas, delivering toys and food to families in need. Together we have seen many lives changed for the better and celebrated the magic of the holiday season.
